PULASKI STREET CHURCH OF CHRIST

 Jeremiah Tatum is the Pulpit Minister for the Pulaski Street Church of Christ. His wife, Amber, and their sons, Luke and Daniel and daughter, Lyssabeth Grace, are also an integral part of our church family. The Tatums love to worship and spend time with fellow Christians.

Jeremiah was born in California on July 23, 1973, and raised in the Lord’s church. His family has been involved in the preaching of the gospel for the last seven decades, including time overseas in the mission field. His ancestors were also involved in the restoration of the church in Kentucky during the 1800s. After graduating in 1996 with a BS in Biology from California State University Stanislaus, Jeremiah went on to Freed-Hardeman University in Henderson, TN, and earned a Masters Degree in Ministry in 1998. Since that time Jeremiah has worked in congregations in Tennessee and Kentucky, including four years with the New Providence church of Christ near Murray, Ky.     

    Amber Tatum, formerly Amber Faughn, was born in Metropolis, Illinois, on May 22, 1974, and spent most of her growing up years in Dexter, Missouri. Her father was the preacher for the Dexter church of Christ for about 11 years and now continues to labor with the Central church of Christ in Paducah, Ky. Amber attended Freed-Hardeman University and received her degree in Communications-Public Relations in 1996. After graduating she became the Director of Public Relations for Jackson State Community College in Jackson, TN, but left that job when the Tatums moved to Kentucky. Since that time she has been a great support for Jeremiah in his work, teaching the young women and toddlers and working with all ages. Amber loves the Lord and is a very devoted and responsible wife and mother.

Luke was born in Murray, KY, on March 19, 2001.  He loves Bible class, singing, and playing with his friends after worship. He also loves to have books read to him, and, if you let him, he may read a few books to you! Spending time at home with his family is Luke’s favorite thing to do.

    Daniel was born in Columbia, TN, on June 4, 2004.  Daniel is an adorable bundle of energy with an inquiring mind.  He is doing a good job keeping up with his big brother.

    Lyssabeth Grace was born in Columbia, TN, on August 21, 2007.  Lyssabeth weighed 7 lbs., 10 oz., and measured 19 inches long.

The Tatums are happy to be working with the Pulaski St. congregation. They feel very blessed to be a part of this loving family, and look forward to the future growth of the Lord’s kingdom in Lawrenceburg. They want to let you know that their time, their home, and their friendship are always extended to everyone. They believe that God’s Word is perfect and divine, and that Salvation is in Jesus Christ and His church. They hope you will choose to be part of the family of God that meets at Pulaski St.

YOUTH MINISTER
Meet our youth minister, Jeremy Gargis! Since graduating from Freed-Hardeman in December of 2006, Jeremy has been working with us full-time here at Pulaski Street. Jeremy is originally from the north Alabama area and attended the New Hope Church of Christ.  He is now a newlywed to Katie Lindsay Gargis of Huntsville, AL. Katie grew up attending the Madison Church of Christ in the Huntsville, AL area. The elders would like for us to get to know Jeremy and Katie, help them become a part of our family, and support Jeremy as he works with all of us, especially our youth group.
